At least 5 cadets killed in ISIS-claimed attack in Aden
At least five cadets were killed in a suicide attack on Tuesday in Yemen's temporary capital.
Informed sources told YNN that a planted IED blew up a gathering of newly-recuruted soldiers loyal to the internationally recognized government of President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi near a sports stadium in the southern city.
ISIS has claimed responsibilty for the attack.
The attack comes after hours of a ceasefire between Iranian-backed Houthi and Saleh rebels and a Saudi-led coalition backing the Hadi government at midnight on Sunday (21:00 GMT). As well, it comes before UN-brokered peace talks scheduled to take off on April 18 in Kuwait, where the rebels, who control the capital Sana'a, will discuss peace terms with Hadi and forces loyal to him.
Saudi Arabia and its allies launched an air campaign in March 2015 in Yemen against the Iran-allied Houthi rebels in the country, in response to a call of the Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi to restore legitmacy to the poor country.
