Medicine students stage anti-tobacco campaign

Students of the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Aden have launched a campaign on Tuesday aiming to fight tobacco smoking.

The campaign is parallel to other campaigns staged worldwide as part of the World No Tobacco Day that takes place on the 31st of May of every year.

The students distributed brochures and posters warning of the risks of using tobacco in its various shapes, as well as the ways how to stop using it.

Pedestrians and passengers welcomed the campaign and some of them participated actively in it through putting the posters in their cars and buses.

The campaign is planned to continue through making seminars to school student, in addition to distributing brochures and showing videos to shoppers in the malls within Aden governorate.
